Jessica Sanchez: Road to Hollywood

Here’s a rising hollywood superstar “Jessica Sanchez” whom every Filipinos favorite at American Idol Season 11. She was born on August 4, 1995 at Chula Vista where together with her two brothers she was raised by her parents Editha Sanchez a Filipina and Gilbert Sanchez Mexican American U.S. Navy veteran. She went in Eastlake Middle School at Chula Vista and now a homeschooled high school student with a full scholarship at the Theater of Arts in Hollywood.

She started singing at an early age of 2 with melodious influences like Mariah CareyWhitney HoustonCeline DionEtta JamesChristina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson. Eminem and Veyonce are her much loved artist and Jennifer Hudson is her favorite American Idol Contestant. While taking slow steps on her career, Jessica had appearances on on Showtime at the Apollo , Americas Got Talent Season 1 and on a national Football League. She also recorded” Don’t Stop the Music” by Rihanna for itunes and “I’d Rather Go Blind” by Etta James for youtube under Spin Move Records.  Along with American Idol season 10 finalist Thia Megia, Sanchez was one of the singers in Lisa Lavie‘s collaboration video “We Are the World 25 for Haiti (YouTube Edition)” for charity relief for victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

2011 marks her golden entry and it’s like passing through a needle’s hole when she made it to American Idol with millions of contestant trying to dig up to the finals. 2012; her major break as she was able to be in to the top 10 to top 8 to top 6,5,4,3 and 2. Now, people are getting so excited and thrilled with her fight on the championship. Many people believe that she could make it; it would be a major turn over after seasons of male winners.
